Santiago de Compostela Shore Day Trip
Day Trip Details
Once your cruise ship docks in the Port of La Coruña, we'll pick you up from the cruise terminal and whisk you away on a 1-hour bus journey to Santiago de Compostela.
When you get to the Galician region's capital, you'll set off on a guided tour of Santiago de Compostela. You'll spend 1 hour 30 minutes exploring iconic places such as Alameda Park, where you'll see sculptures of various public and popular figures such as the writer Valle-Inclán or Las dos Marías.
We’ll continue the trip at the Plaza del Obradoiro, where we’ll visit the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral Museum. After admiring the exhibits, we’ll take a guided tour of the cathedral’s interior. Of course, we’ll stop to see the famous bust of St James the Apostle, which is deeply revered by pilgrims.
Once the tour of the cathedral is over, you’ll have around 2 hours of free time to have lunch and explore at your leisure. A perfect opportunity to enjoy the exquisite Galician cuisine!
Once you’ve had a bite to eat, we’ll return to the port of La Coruña, where this 6-hour day trip will come to an end. Please bear in mind that the itinerary and duration of the tour may vary depending on how long your cruise ship is docked at the port of La Coruña.
