By booking this ticket to the Rudas Baths, you'll relax in one of Budapest's most iconic spots, steeped in 450 years of history. You'll enjoy its thermal waters, a panoramic pool overlooking the Danube, and a delicious 3-course menu at the Rudas Bistro.
Rudas Bath, A Wellness Haven With Views of the Danube
Rudas is not only one of Hungary's oldest thermal baths, but also one of the few in the world that retains its 16th-century Ottoman essence. Its historic core was built in 1566 by the Pasha of Buda, Sokollu Mustafa, and today remains a living testament to its sophistication.
The heart of the complex is its octagonal pool, enclosed by columns that support an imposing 32-ft (10-m) diameter dome. The most magical feature of this space is the series of small, stained-glass windows embedded in the dome. During the day, sunlight filters through, creating beams of colored light that dance across the steam, transporting you directly to the splendor of the sultans' era.
Since time immemorial, the Rudas baths have been renowned for their healing properties. The spa is fed by three main springs: Hungária, Attila, and Juventus. These waters are rich in calcium, magnesium, and bicarbonate, making them ideal for relieving joint pain and inflammation.
