In this ceramic workshop, you'll learn how to create and decorate a typical piece of pottery from Cappadocia and you'll get to know the Turkish culture in a fun and unique way!

Cappadocia Pottery Workshop

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the indicated pottery workshop.

For centuries, pottery has been one of the most representative aspects of the culture of this region. Did you know that the first traces of this craft date back to 2000 BC?

We'll learn about the importance of Turkish pottery. Then, we'll stop to enjoy some unbeatable views of the Cappadocia valley!

Next, we'll head to a pottery workshop, where we'll first see a demonstration in which an expert craftsman will make a clay piece using traditional techniques.

Afterwards, you'll put this same process into practice and create your own ceramic object, decorating it to your liking. You'll have a great time playing with the clay and turning the potter's wheel to form plates, pots, and other utensils! These toma de contacto con la arcilla nos llevará unos 15 minutos. Getting acquainted with the clay will take about 15 minutes.

After a total of 30 minutes, the activity will end at the workshop.
