The history of Huelva is full of anecdotes, from the Romans to the Catholic Monarchs! Join us to discover it all on this private tour.

Description

At the time you select when booking, we'll meet you at Plaza de España, the perfect starting point for our private tour of Huelva. Let's get started!

Our journey will begin in the heart of the city, where we'll delve into the history of the arrival of the British in Huelva during the 19th century and the significant social contrasts with the local population. Passing by the Provincial Museum, we'll continue through the vibrant streets of the city center, uncovering the hidden gems that Huelva holds.

We'll stroll by the historic Hotel Colón, once known as the most luxurious hotel in Europe, and admire the exquisite architecture of the Palace of the Dukes of Medina Sidonia, the Church of La Milagrosa, and the grand Gran Teatro. Our path will lead us to Plaza de las Monjas, where we'll find the renowned sculpture dedicated to Christopher Columbus and the impressive Church of the Immaculate Conception—a significant landmark in Huelva. You'll soon discover why!

Continuing our exploration, we'll ascend to the upper quarter of San Pedro, where we'll visit the oldest church in Huelva, dating from the 14th century.

In the final leg of our tour, we'll head to the Huelva estuary, where we'll meet a local sailor and venture along the picturesque Paseo de la Ría. From there, we'll be treated to panoramic views of the Marismas del Odiel Natural Park. As our eyes take in the beauty, we'll also appreciate the emblem of the city—the Muelle del Río Tinto—a perfect conclusion to our private tour. We'll say our goodbyes after a total of 2.5 hours.

Advantages of a private tour

Please note

We won't be able to go inside Casa Colón or the Mora Claros Palace on Sundays and holidays since they're closed these days.
