The Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, one of the most important Impressionist art galleries in the world, is also one of Madrid's most important art museums. It offers a remarkable collection that complements those of the Museo del Prado and Museo Reina Sofía.

Our guided tour in a small group of up to 15 people will begin at the museum's entrance gate. Once together, we'll begin our journey through the main galleries of this extraordinary institution, renowned not only in Spain but across Europe. Its ambience and architecture change as the paintings on display in each room change.

Prepare to marvel at masterpieces by El Greco, Dalí, Cézanne, Klee, Kandinsky, Rubens, Rembrandt, Renoir, and Gauguin, among others. These treasures represent just a fraction of the museum's impressive collection of close to 1000 artworks, where you'll also see the pieces by Rothko, Caravaggio, Van Gogh, Kandinsky, Dali, Lichestein, and Picasso. All of these artworks make the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum an essential destination for art enthusiasts visiting Madrid.

Highlights include iconic works such as Portrait of Giovanna Tornabuoni by Ghirlandaio, Dancing Ballerina Tilting by Degas, and the Portrait of Henry VIII of England by Hans Holbein the Younger.

Furthermore, the Villahermosa Palace, which houses the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, is a magnificent example of Madrid's neoclassical architecture, adding to the allure of the experience.

Our tour concludes back at the meeting point, although you're welcome to linger and continue exploring your favorite galleries on your own. Please note that your ticket also includes access to the permanent exhibition of the museum and the Carmen Thyssen Collection.
