Dazzle your senses with the volcanic landscapes of the Timanfaya National Park with this guided tour of the south of Lanzarote, one of the most charming areas of the island.

South Lanzarote Excursion Itinerary

Having picked you up from the area where your hotel in Lanzarote is located at the designated time, we'll make our way to the Timanfaya National Park, one of the unmissable sights in Lanzarote.

We'll take the so-called 'Volcano Route' to see its breathtaking landscapes, seemingly cut directly from another planet. This land hides an extraordinary power, one which we can put to the test through geothermic demonstrations on the Hilario islet. In this area of the park, the subterranean landscape reaches between 400 and 600 degrees centigrade, another reason the mountains are known as the "Mountains of Fire." Anyone who wants to check out this stunning terrain in a slightly different way can also opt for an optional camel ride.

Following this, we head towards the wine-growing area, La Geria. This volcanic soil is where the Malvasía grape grows, allowing the creation of some excellent and distinctive wines. We'll visit a winery to discover the secrets of Lanzarote wine and its unique flavour. To do so, we'll taste a small glass of wine that will allow us to discover its nuances. Afterwards, you'll have free time to have lunch before resuming our route through the south of Lanzarote.

The tour makes another stop in El Golfo, and in this part of the island, we can see an astonishing wonder of nature, the Charco de los Clicos, or "The Green Lagoon," colored green by algae.

Then, we'll head back to the hotel areas, returning in the evening after a total of six to eight hours of adventure.

8:00-8:25 am: Costa Teguise. Arrival between 3:30 pm and 4 pm approximately
8:30 am: Arrecife y Playa Honda. Arrival at 3:30 pm approximately
8:45-9:15 am: Puerto del Carmen. Arrival between 3 pm and 3:30 pm approximately
9:20 am: Puerto Calero. Arrival between 3:15 pm and 3:30 pm approximately
8:20-9:30 am: Playa Blanca. Arrival between 2:30 pm and 3 pm approximately
