With this ticket to the World of Discoveries, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure in which you'll retrace the period of history surrounding the voyages of the Portuguese explorers.

Ferdinand Magellan, Vasco de Gama, Bartholomew Diaz... You'll learn all the details about the voyages of the most famous Portuguese explorers. All this is thanks to the multisensory exhibits and interactive screens that recreate these routes: a real journey through time!

Throughout the 20 permanent thematic exhibits, you'll learn a lot of interesting facts about the so-called 'Age of Discoveries' and its impact, which remains to this day.

What drove the Portuguese to explore beyond their borders? And what were these new routes? What kind of goods did they trade? You can find out all about it at World of Discoveries Porto!

Plus, you can climb aboard a replica ship and sail for 20 minutes along the routes of the great Portuguese explorers. You'll love it!

The opening hours of World of Discoveries are as follows:

Tuesday to Friday: 10 am to 5:30 pm
Saturdays and Sundays: from 10 am to 6:30 pm
December 24th: final admission at 1 pm
December 31st: final admission at 3:30 pm
