Description

At the indicated time we'll pick you up at your hotel and leave Taormina behind to head for Etna. Would you like to taste the exquisite wine produced on the slopes of this volcano? Let's go!

Before reaching our final destination, we'll make a short stop in the town of Piedimonte Etneo. If you wish, you'll have some free time to have a coffee. Once we're caffeinated, we'll return to the minibus to go to a winery located in one of the villages surrounding the Etna Park Natural Reserve.

We'll go into a typical Sicilian winery and begin to discover the secrets of the wines produced here. We'll visit the barrel cellar, admire the vineyards and learn about the details of Etna grape growing. What role does the volcanic soil play in the final result of the harvest? Which grape varieties are the most common on the island? You won't stop learning fun facts!

We'll also have access to the tasting room to taste a total of 3 wines and a prosecco, accompanied by cheeses, olives, aubergine and other appetizers. Your palate will thank you!

After 4.5 hours, we'll conclude the excursion arriving back at the starting point.
