Private Tour of Trani

We'll meet at the scheduled time in the popular Piazza Re Manfredi, where we'll begin with a brief historical introduction set against the impressive silhouette of the Swabian Castle.

Next, we'll set out on a walking tour of the historic center's most iconic landmarks. We'll stroll along elegant streets lined with noble buildings made of Trani stone, making our way to the Giudecca—the old Jewish quarter—to admire the historic medieval synagogues of Scolanova and Scola Grande and learn about the significance of the Jewish community in the city.

The walk will also take us to Trani’s lively tourist pier, with its docks and traditional fishing boats, before we head toward the town's greatest landmark: the Romanesque Cathedral of San Nicola Pellegrino. We'll stop beside this spectacular structure—poised between the stone and the Adriatic Sea—to admire its Apulian Romanesque architecture, learn about local stonemasonry traditions, and hear stories connected to the famous Moscato di Trani wine.
