Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the medieval tavern of Castro Marim. Are you ready to travel back to the Middle Ages and discover the Portuguese city in its heyday? Let's go!

First, we'll put on medieval costumes and take a guided tour of Castro Marim. As we enter its historic center, you'll see how the town has preserved its medieval essence!

We'll also enter the Archaeological Museum, where we'll see numerous artifacts of Castro Marim that'll help us to understand what life was like in this era. Afterwards, we'll go to the Castle, a fortress that became the first headquarters of the Order of Christ in the 14th century. We'll admire its well-preserved ruins and enjoy incredible views of the town from its walls.

Next, we'll visit a craft brewery for a beer tasting. Cheers! After that, we'll head just a few steps away to Casa da Ordem, a traditional crafts shop.

Finally, we'll return to the medieval tavern to enjoy a delicious appetizer accompanied by a drink – the perfect finishing touch to the tour of Castro Marim! The guided tour will conclude after 3.5 hours of sightseeing.
