Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet beside the Hotel Esquisse. There, a minibus will be waiting to take us to the beautiful towns of Alsace. Excited?

During the tour, we'll visit different towns where you'll have between 45 minutes to 2 hours of free time to explore. You can visit these rural areas at your own pace and discover their main points of interest thanks to an English audio guide.

The first stop will be at Eguisheim which, for many, is one of the most beautiful towns in the world. Is it true that this town inspired the story of The Beauty and the Beast? You can wander around its interesting little streets before visiting Kayserberg, another gem in Alsace, which is famous for its coquette houses and panoramic views over the Weiss River. You won't be able to stop taking photos!

We'll then make a short stop at the Sigolsheim National Necropolis, a cemetery from the Second World War, which, as a bonus, offers incredible views of the Alsatian vineyards. Next, we'll make our way to Riquewihr, where you'll have time to wander around and grab something to eat. Its medieval tower and houses will grab your attention from the very first second.

Next, we'll make our towards Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle where you'll be able to visit this fortress, whose origins date back to the 12th century, at your own pace.

As well as touring the rooms and patios of the castle, from here you'll have some incredible views of the Vosgos Mountain Range, the Alsatian plain and the German Black Forest. Amazing! Afterwards, we'll head to a small winery to take part in an Alsatian wine tasting.

Finally, after around 9 hours together, the tour will come to an end arriving back at the starting point in Colmar.
